We envision a new congregation developing in Madison County, west of Huntsville, Alabama, under the

PCUSA banner where the mission statement of the church is that of “Knowing Jesus Christ and

making Him known!” This church will be celebratory in its contemporary worship, offering

preaching that addresses issues which young adults and young families with children care about

and grapple with. It will be a “seeker” congregation, with diversity in Christ embraced as a gift;

where everyone wil be welcomed regardless of their ethnic, cultural economic and social status;

This church will be a church of small groups, with people meeting together around Scripture and

prayer for the purpose of nurture, support encouragement, and equipping for ministry, and

making disciples who will demonstrate the love and justice of Jesus Christ in their vocations and

avocations, seizing all arenas of life as opportunities for the practicing of Christian faith and life.
